Private therapy for children and young people 🍀
Private therapy offers the benefit of a more flexible, individualised treatment plan, with a focus on your child’s unique needs. In addition, I incorporate art and play interventions, as a creative outlet for children to express themselves and process their emotions in a safe way. Furthermore, this approach allows me to work closely with both your child and your family to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to healing. Currently, I offer online therapy for families across the UK and internationally, so no matter where you are, we can work together to help your child regain control, find peace, and build the skills for a fulfilling life.

Book a free Initial Call
I offer an initial free 30 minute telephone consultation to all families who are considering private therapy for their child/teen. During the call I would gather more information about your concerns and will also answer any questions you might have about the process. Please get in touch for more information.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and OCD symptoms
I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help young people gradually face their fears while reducing compulsions in a supportive, structured way. Through ACT and compassion-focused therapy, I guide them in unhooking from intrusive thoughts, while creative tools like storytelling, drawing, and sand tray work offer a safe space to explore their experiences.

Anxiety
Using ACT and CBT, I help children and teens recognize anxious thoughts, develop healthier thinking patterns, and build confidence in facing uncertainty. Art, play, and mindfulness techniques allow them to externalise worries, making the process more engaging and accessible.

School & Exams Stress
I teach young people ACT- and CBT-based strategies to manage academic pressure, shift unhelpful thinking patterns, and focus on what’s within their control. Art, visualisation, and grounding techniques provide a creative and calming way to manage overwhelm and build resilience.

Low Mood
Through a blend of ACT, CBT, and Behavioural Activation, I support young people in understanding their emotions, taking small but meaningful steps toward re-engagement with life, and developing self-compassion. Creative expression, such as painting or working with clay, can also help them process feelings when words feel difficult.

Identity
Exploring identity can feel overwhelming, but through ACT and compassion-focused therapy, I help young people connect with their values and embrace self-acceptance. Creative mediums like storytelling, mask-making, or collage can be powerful tools for exploring emotions and expressing their sense of self.

Confidence & Self-esteem
I use CBT and compassion-focused approaches to help children and teens challenge negative self-beliefs, recognize their strengths, and build a more positive self-view. Play-based and creative exercises, such as role-play and storytelling, allow them to express emotions and develop confidence in social situations.
